CEU Deadline Changed
NASW, Utah Chapter has been working closely with the Utah Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing to implement a few sensible changes. One big change is matching the license renewal deadline (which occurs Sept 30th of even years), with the continuing education deadline (which occurs on December 31st of odd years)—confusing, eh?
In December 2009, DOPL formally changed their administrative rules to match the continuing education deadline with the license renewal deadline. The continuing education deadline is now October 1st, 2010. Be prepared to renew your license by September 30th, 2010 and have all 40 ceu’s by October 1st, 2010 (not December 31st, 2009)! We hope this simplifies the process!
