Utah law requires social workers to obtain 3 hours in ethics and 2 hours in suicide prevention education during each two-year licensing cycle.

Access a list of online courses that will fulfill these requirements here.

Due to COVID19, DOPL has waived the in-person CEU requirements for social workers renewing their licenses September 30th, 2020.  Social workers are encouraged to participate in live webinars, homestudy or online education to support social distancing initiatives.  Also, any live webinar that takes place in real-time is considered a live, category 1 training.
